Antrim 40 XL

The Antrim 40 "XL" was designed for the Barran family. She is a fully chined hull shape built using a temporary mold constructed with developed surfaces for cost savings.

She is optimized for Southern California windward/leeward PHRF racing and distance racing to Mexico and Hawaii, and comfortable for family weekends in Catalina. Double berth stateroom forward, spacious enclosed head with hot water shower, functional galley, comfortable cockpit seating.

One crewmember described the cockpit as the "most ergonomic layout" he had ever sailed.

Non overlapping jibs and fixed bowsprit make her easy to sail both racing and cruising.
